Lower limb weight-bearing restoration in a female patient with the knee neurogenic and positional contractures

Abstract

Complex approach is presented for rehabilitation of a female patient with flexion neurogenic and positional contracture of the knees on account of severe craniocerebral injury, including surgical treatment with the Ilizarov fixator and exercise therapy according to an individual program; this approach allows to recover the knee function and the ability of independent walking.
