Transosseous Osteosynthesis in Femoral Fracture with Angular Displacement of Fragments and Nail Deformity
Abstract
The technique of closed osteosynthesis of femur with Ilizarov frame is described. Femoral fracture was complicated with the deformity of intramedullary nail. Ilizarov apparatus allowed to correct femoral axis, eliminate nail deformity, firmly fix the bone fragments and achive consolidation in proper position.
