Mineral metabolism condition in children with phosphate diabetes for correction of lower limb deformities by the Ilizarov method
Abstract
The changes in calcium-phosphorus balance have been studied in children with phosphate diabetes in the process of lower limb deformity correction using the Ilizarov fixator. The details of calcium and phosphorus metabolism have been revealed in patients, subjected to deformity correction without intramedullary reinforcement, but using intramedullary wires with hydroxylapatite coating.
