The experimental aspects of studying articular cartilage reparative regeneration under subchondral zone tunneling with autologous bone marrow infusion

Abstract

The work deals with the preliminary results of studying articular cartilage reparative regeneration under osteoarthrosis experimental modeling with subsequent tunneling subchondral zone and autologous bone marrow transplantation. Under such experimental conditions the proper regeneration potentials of cartilage were manifested in the increase of chondrocyte proliferative and biosynthetic activity. The cellular accumulations, surrounded by intercellular substance, which were found in the foci of cartilage remodeling, indicated to actively proceeding reparative process.
