Clinical aspects of hardware-and-surgical methods of treatment of children with congenital anomalies of leg bones

Abstract

The authors have observed 51 children with congenital anomalies of leg bone development for the last 20 years. While treating them they have used various techniques of hardware-and-surgical treatment. Long-term results have been studied in 41 patients. As a result of the treatment performed 36 children have begun to walk independently with functional weight-bearing of the lower limb involved.
