Благодаря отверстиям, расположенным в корпусе титанового кейджа, происходит прорастание в него костной ткани смежных позвонков. Создаются благоприятные условия для формирования костно-металлического спондилодеза. Применение титанового кейджа уменьшает травматичность операции и исключает использование аутотрансплантата из гребня подвздошной кости.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Titanium cages in combination with autobone can be successfully used for interbody spondylodesis of different types together with other known implants. Owing to the holes in the titanium cage body, bone tissue of adjacent vertebrae sprouts into the cage. Favourable conditions are for bone-metal spondylodesis formation. The use of the titanium cage reduces surgery damage and does not require the additional use of iliac crest autograft.</p></trans-abstract></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title></ref-list><fn-group><fn fn-type="conflict"><p>The authors declare that there are no conflicts of interest present.</p></fn></fn-group></back></article>
